Game 3 - vs Mountain Indian
Sunday Morning and I'm tired, and on 11 points. And playing Graham Evans. But I have had a nice curry
After much debate I assume he will have to cover the table and deploy accordingly, but he doesn't.
So, my warband are virtually useless. At least I have spears and blades to wade into the Ax (X) and Bw (O) !!
This is pretty much the entire game - I try and push blades and spears into the wall of Bw (O). Graham throws out some LH (O) in front, and I blow them away with my bowmen, even killing a few as they suffer flee results at odd angles.
On the left Graham tries to push a huge column of Ax (X) into 4 of my Bw (I). I shave them off the front of the column faster than they arrive.
On the right my Bw (I) & Sp chase LH (O) away, and then start to shoot up Ax (X) lurking on the hill.
Some Psiloi mess about on the hill at the far right.
Time rushes onwards, and then time is up.
Graham has failed to overwhelm my 4 Irr Bw (I) with his 24 Ax (X), and my blades and spears have failed to do lasting damage to his bowmen. We are both reasonably close to losing commands and armies, but not actually that close.
Oh well
