To help you make sense of the battle report, here are some pictures of the individual units and figures used in my army in this competition
Cuirassiers, seen in both the Dutch and German allied contingents. There are three of these units in the army, two Dutch and one German. All are Superior Pi/Pi Heavily armoured Horse. These are all Minifigs figures
German Dragoons. Again Minifigs figures, not actual "dragoon" figures, but instead these are a mix of musketeers and Cavalier cavalry
Petits Vieux Infantry. A mix of Minifigs Musketeers and I believe what are QRF pikemen. There is another unit with a yellow flag with a white cross on it in addition to these fellows. Impact Foote, a mix of Musket* and Pike. Sometimes the Musketeers are "commanded out" creating an 8-strong musket* Impact foote unit and a 4-strong Pike unit.
French Dragoons. Essex Miniatures, from the Louis XIV ranges
The German pike and shotte. These are Matchlock Miniatures figures, now made by Minifigs. A standard Pike and Shotte unit
The Dutch Infantry. Old Glory 15's, originally bought as Spanish but here with a Dutch flag. Standard Pike and Shotte
The other Dutch infantry unit, with a more obviously Dutch flag. Again Old Glory but this time more generic TYW figures. Standard Pike and Shotte
The "rubbish" grey-coated French Horse. These are actually Swedish Horse from Old Glory. Average, unarmoured Pistol/Pistol Horse
The Guardes! This "blue" unit is made up of Lancashire Games surprisingly nice figures. Superior Impact Foote with Musket* and armoured pikemen
The other Guarde Unit - this is a red-coated unit with a yellow and white flag. Like the others, they are Superior Inpact Foote Musket* and Pike
