15mm Baggage Redux
A gratuitous rebasing project for ADLG
Finding myself needing to buy some extra MDF bits to get free postage on eBay, I picked up some 40x80 pieces to allow me to do something I'd not done in ages - rebase some baggage from old-style DBX single elements into ADLG 40x80mm mini vignettes
The most generic baggage going - not really useful for Moslem or Jewish armies, but will work for anyone else. The basing on these wood filler, with some sand pressed into it and then washed in Rustins wood stain. Some of them are darker than others, as I made the mistake of shaking the tin - which had largely settled and hence thinned out before I shook it up
Even safer - a shepherd, needing his hat touching up a bit, but tending his sheep alongside some discarded shields. 40x80 is a really nice size for a single based element, just big enough to get some sort of arrangement onto it
Generic South East Asian Army Baggage #1 - the Buddhists!
Generic Arab Baggage - the Donnington Exhorting Priest as well for extra amusement. The camels are partly Essex, and I think partly Magister Militum
Generic South East Asian Baggage #2 - the other sorts of armies and religions. These are Two Dragons (now sold by Minifigs) Japanese peasants
Roman Signifer being interviewed by a (Peter Pig) camera crew.
The Barbarians - Druids (from Magister Militum) sacrificing a young lady. And a chicken.
Fortified Baggage!
Donningtons Knightly Tent. There wasn't really room to include all the stuff in the kit on the base!
The dog and the peregrine falcon both get a look in in this shot.
Generic Arab Baggage #2.
And that's it, Not the most exciting bit of internet pager malarkey, but it made me happy ... and now I'll fully committed to ADLG !
